Buy A New Automobile Or Only A Pre-owned One?
By Paul zayer
You have been driving that old for a lot of years when it finally gave up on you. You must now ask yourself: "Should I buy a new or another used again?" You can't decide what to do. You have heard both sides of the story many times over. Some people will tell you it is better to hang on to your old one and have it repaired, others will tell you it is so much better to buy a new vehicle and save on maintenance. But what's involved into buying a new car? What's involved in the process?

Though it may appear effortless to go buy a new vehicle, a lot of consumers have no idea what they are doing and they end up paying too much for too little of a car. There are some nice trucks and cars out there, but rarely are any of them worth the price they ask. Even when you add in special features and the like, there is still room for negotiation but most individuals won't negotiate. There are some that know they are paying too much, but they don't think they are able to negotiate, or they think that they will talk themselves right out of the they want. That will not occur, but there are limits of course.

Anyone who has gone shopping for a new vehicle knows that the salesman seems to be greatly interested in selling you a without asking some questions, and also, without having much of a chance to change your mind. This is called a high pressure sales technique, a common practice, and a wise customer will leave the place if this is how they are treated when they start to look at any car. There are always other places to buy a new or a new truck and some dealers who will let the sell itself.

Most person also believe that they truly don't need to be accompanied with someone when they shop for a new or a new truck. Though most times there will be absolutely nothing wrong, it doesn't hurts to have a mechanic with you if you are going to buy a new automobile or any type of transportation for that matter. Not everybody can do that, or know a mechanic, so go for a test drive to the nearest mechanic and see if they will look it over for you. It shouldn't take too much of your time, and shouldn't cost much. In most situations the new automobile will be in very good condition, but there are some who try to sell a slightly

used vehicle as new, and even though that is exceptional, a experienced mechanic can catch it. Why take chances?

When it is time to buy a new always use negotiation, and if you don't know how to do it or you think you won't be good at it, take someone with you. You surely have a friend who have experienced this challenge and know how to deal with it. This is something that should not be skipped. The prices are exaggerated, and there is room to move. When you buy a new you can get a better deal, and the dealership will still be making a profit. It's anticipated and it is silly not to do it.

A little advice to women out there if I may so, and I am not trying to be macho man here, but if you want to buy a new automobile I would like to recommend to take a male friend with you. I know I can hear the strong feminist woman from across the room... (put her on pause). The cars and trucks are a men's world for many and having a male friend with you just might keep the salesman or woman in check and not try to dupe you. Just a thought. Because I have bought a few brand new vehicles for many years, this little advice can go a long way and save you some money. Now if you want, go buy a new vehicle and smile!
